2017 Row by Row begins June 21st - more information coming soon!

What is Row by Row?

The Row by Row Experience is like a shop hop, but it's not! There are no fees, no cards to stamp, and you have all summer to travel with friends, discover new shops, and have fun collecting rows! Visit any of the participating shops to receive a free pattern for a row in a quilt; then combine your rows in any way you want to create a unique quilt that represents the fun you had traveling to the different stores throughout the summer. Click here to read all the FAQs.

Row by Row began in 2011 with 20 quilt shops across New York State. In 2012, the event grew to include 62 shops. Pennsylvania came on board in 2013 for a total of 138 shops throughout the two states. In 2014, over 1,250 shops participated in 34 states and Ontario, Canada, and that number grew to 2,655 shops across the US and Canada in 2015. In 2016, there were stores participating in all 50 states, all across Canada, and even in Europe! Click here to view the full map.

Each state has their own Facebook page where shops post pictures of their rows, in-store displays, winning quilts, and fabric plate projects. Click here to check out Washington State's Row by Row page.

The theme for the 2016 Row by Row Experience is "Home Sweet Home." Redmond, WA has been our home for the last 41 years, so we wanted our row to be representative of that. We chose to incorporate various bicycles in our design because Redmond is also known as the Bicycle Capital of the Northwest.

Our Fabric Plate Panel

Exclusive Fabric Plates by Zebra Patterns will be available in many of the participating Row by Row shops. Collect a bunch to create fun projects to remind you of your adventure! We chose SEW CRAFTY for ours because we wanted our panel to represent our store as a whole - and since we are a craft store at heart, it seemed like the perfect fit!
